A Level Scholarship

We are awarding scholarships for academically strong students aged from 15 to 17 years old, with a good level of English to enter our Year 12 class and follow Cambridge AS and A Level courses from September 2019. The scholarships will be for 2 years to enable successful students to complete A Level studies and acquire the gold standard qualifications for entry to top universities worldwide. Please note that these scholarships are for Year 12 entry and for students with Slovak permanent residence permit only. No scholarships are available for younger students.

The scholarships are means tested and are only available to students whose parents would not otherwise be able to afford the school’s fees. Offers will be made for reductions of 25%, 50%, 75% or in exceptional cases 100% of school fees for the entire period of the AS/A Level courses providing the scholar maintains a high standard of academic progress throughout the studies. We will be awarding bursaries which cover additional expenses connected to the studies here as well (e.g. food, trips, exam entry fees).

Applicants should complete the form and return it to us along with their latest school report and references from their current school via email to admissions@cambridgeschool.euWrite “Scholarship” in the subject box. Those selected for interview will be invited to the school in the course of the next two months. There will be an English language assesment (possibly in another selected subject), and an interview will be conducted by senior teachers.

As one of our successful scholars says:

"The principal benefit of the A Level qualification is the fact that it is an internationally recognised certificate which enables students to specialise in the subjects they are interested in. It is easier to get an offer from a foreign university if you are doing A Levels." (Jakub K., University of Cambridge)

You can find more information about the AS/A Level course at our school in 2019/20 school year in our AS/A Level Handbook.
