Book Week is one of the most exciting events at CIS. It is a time when we celebrate reading, imagination and have lots of fun. We've prepared a number of activities for our students (and staff) to take part in. You can read all about them in this Book Week newsletter.
On Wednesday, we ask that all students and staff bring pyjamas to change into for our Bedtime Story Safari afternoon. Also, on Friday, it would be wonderful if all students and staff could come to school dressed as a literary character. As you can see in the newsletter, we have a whole host of other events and activities planned for the week and there will be lots of prizes to be won!
Book Sale this week - Thursday and Friday March 10th and 11th. A representative from Usborne Publishing will be bringing a selection of books to the school and displaying them in the reception area.
A schedule has been devised for each class to visit the Book Fair during the school days. Parents and all students (including pre-school children) are welcome to attend the Book Fair 15:30-17:00 on Thursday March 10th.
Moreover, Slovak author Daniel Hevier will be talking to our children on Thursday, March 10th and it will be possible to buy his books as well (in Slovak). They will also be displayed in the reception’s area between 15:00 and 16:00 on Thursday.
