This year children performed various types of songs, starting with a lyrical Ballade pour Adeline played on glockenspiels by the Year 2s, followed by the pop song, In my Mind, In My Head to which they made up their own rhyming lyrics. We could taste a musical spirit in several songs from the Mary Poppins musical: Let's Go Fly A Kite and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang by Year 3. Also Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious and Spoonful of Sugar by Year 4. The afternoon finished in pop and rock styles when Year 5 conveyed the summer vibes to the audience in the Shotgun song. We were also honoured to host some special guests from Andalucia Flamenco group, and many parents, who visited Ms Csilla's exhibition too.
