St Nicholas Day at CIS

We celebrated St Nicholas (Mikuláš) in our school in a true spirit of giving, receiving and being thankful. He came to our school with an angel and devil as well as a load of chocolate mini versions of himself looking for good children. Our students sang, recited, performed and created their own postcards to give to St Nicholas to show him they deserve a treat. Our Year 2M class even put together a book of poems they wrote themselves! Secondary students had to try for a chocolate too and only got one after they answered a question in our special Kahoot! quiz about the life of St Nicholas correctly. We had a lovely morning full of laughter (and sugar rush!).
