How could we create a Forest School for younger students?

Forest School – The Year 7’s task was to create an outdoor experience to enable Year 3 to explore, enjoy and learn about nature. Students learned about forest kindergartens and planned how they could adapt this for Primary students. Using teamwork, problem-solving skills and research, they prepared a site in the forest and a range of activities, then acted as guides, activity leaders, facilitators and educators when Year 3 came to spend a day in the forest. Many of the Year 3 students described it as one their best school days ever!
