Orla Flynn

Year 4F Teacher

Orla Flynn obtained her Bachelor of Arts Degree from University of Limerick, Ireland. Then she went on to study a Post Graduate in Primary Education in the University of Edinburgh, Scotland.

She has recently returned to Europe having taught in Abu Dhabi, UAE for the past 7 years and she has taught Year 2, 3 and 4 during her time there. She also held the position of Key Stage 1 leader allowing her to support and guide the 14 members of her team.

Ms Orla believes in giving each child the opportunity to reach their potential by creating a classroom environment which provides motivating and challenging lessons. Children will be encouraged to use their higher order thinking skills through collaborative and independent learning. She loves to keep her lessons fun and exciting, allowing CIS students to become lifelong learners and effective contributors in their future lives.

Her hobbies include travelling, playing music and keeping fit.
