Secondary students enjoy a well-earned day of fun to end the school year.
Secondary students marked the end of the school year by taking part in rafting, kayaking and Stand up paddle boarding. The weather was perfect and spending some time enjoying water based activities was the best way to escape the heat.
Year 7 and 8 students went to Jelka on the Little Danube and explored the beautiful meanders of the river by raft. Professional guides ensured the trips were carried out safely and were able to point out interesting wildlife and features of the river that students may have otherwise missed.
The Year 9 and 10 students went to Jarovecke Rameno to experience kayaking and Stand Up paddle boarding. This peaceful stretch of water is the perfect place to have a go at these activities and enjoy some fantastic new experiences. Once again, experienced instructors were on hand to provide safety and explain the tips and tricks to managing these watercraft.
In all it was a great way to end the year and have some fun together.
