I am delighted to welcome you all back to Cambridge International School for Academic Year 2021-2022. In particular, we are very happy to greet all our new students throughout the school, and most particularly in Year 2 as they start their learning journey with us here on the main campus. I am sure that older students will do all that they can to assist our staff in making our new students feel welcome and helping them to settle into school life. We hope that you are all rested, refreshed and raring to go for the new school year and that you are all committed to working hard, doing your best and contributing to our community. As promised previously, it was a very busy summer of development work on campus, so you will no doubt notice a number of changes, newly completed or due to be finished in the coming days, including the new Science facilities, further development of Uprkova 1 with a new Computer Suite, resurfacing of the playground and play areas, and the creation of parent facilities in Reception, to name just a few. Whilst our School is primarily built on community and a strong culture of cooperation, mutual respect and trust, we hope that these new facilities will help to enhance our provision and make everyone even happier to come to CIS each day, for learning, fun and growth. We are also delighted to welcome our new members of staff, both teaching and administration who are joining our team of CIS Educators, so look out for their biographies on the website. We can never be certain of what the future will hold, but we hope that this year will be as smooth as possible for our whole community and intend and are committed to overcoming any obstacles in our way with the support of our strong community – we are ready and waiting for all our students and hope that you are as excited about the new term as we are.
