Stefen Myles

Year 2M Class Teacher

Mr. Stefen is originally from Armagh, Ireland. He graduated from Keele University with a Degree in English Literature and Education. After finishing his degree, he moved to London to complete his PGCE certificate in Primary Education in St. Mary’s Twickenham. From his time in London, he developed his love of teaching and gained experience in working within a very multicultural classroom. Following on from this, he moved to Finland where he worked as a Year 2 teacher for three years.

He was gifted the opportunity to develop a wider understanding on the importance of ‘learning through play’, he was able to witness first hand just how important it is for young children have fun every time they step through his classroom door. He works under the ethos of ‘a happy learner is a successful learner’. He likes to be involved in just about every sport, he particularly enjoys Gaelic football, hurling and soccer. He also enjoys learning about new cultures and places.
