Teacher of History
Luke Sarsons obtained a History degree at Nottingham Trent University, before completing his PGCE at the University of Buckingham. He has taught History and Philosophy for the last five years in the UK before joining CIS. His personal interests lay in 20th Century History with his MA in Contemporary History and Politics at Birkbeck College, University of London focusing on the rise of the Nazi Party, life in Stalinist Russia and Holocaust studies.
He strongly believes in the value or travelling and understanding different cultures and due to this took a year away from teaching to explore Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand. He hopes to use the opportunity of working at CIS to bring his passion for History to the classroom and explore much more of Europe.
