Secondary PBL week 2023 consisted of some very exciting projects based on the question, 'Where are we Going?' This ranged from students creating their own film trailers with marketing campaigns to students teaching students across primary and secondary. Year 10 students had an amazing visit to a university with a focus on the question of 'how AI will influence our lives?' Teachers are immensely proud of their pupils' hard work and tenacity during this week, it has enabled them to thrive in an environment of learning, engaging in real world and personally meaningful projects. These projects proved to be transformative, taking students and teachers out of their comfort zones. We were able to enrich the curriculum, ensuring that students went beyond requirements of exam boards, giving opportunities to focus on topics that interest and engage them. Coupled with rigour and complexity, these projects enlightened and enthused students giving them the freedom and space to focus on areas of their curriculum and beyond.
