Charikleia Zaragka

Special Educational Needs Teacher

Charikleia obtained a degree in Special Education at the University of Macedonia, Thessaloniki, Greece. She has participated in several volunteer programmes supporting children and teenagers with different special needs. Hara also worked as an intern at the British International School of Ljubljana in Slovenia, as well as for a Non-Governmental Organisation in Slovakia that supports people with autism and Asperger’s Syndrome. Her vision is to ensure an accessible instruction and support model within the School which resonates with the different needs and different learning styles of the students, whilst connecting them always to their teachers and peers. Apart from teaching, Hara is passionate about music and has found it incredibly useful in helping some children to concentrate and access the curriculum.
