Hana Haláková

Teacher of Slovak

Hana obtained her joint Master’s degree in Slovak Language and Literature and English Language and Literature at the Pedagogical Faculty of Comenius University in Bratislava. During her studies, she worked as a substitute Slovak language teacher at an international school. Since, quoting Margaret Mead, she believes that “children must be taught how to think, not what to think,”, she aspires to help her students develop critical thinking skills and express their thoughts eloquently. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, swimming and she loves taking care of animals. She is also very interested in politics and social issues, with a particular passion for Human Rights. She is very happy to be building her career learning from experienced local and foreign professionals in Cambridge International School.
