Melanie Radoja

Teacher of Art

After completing a two-year Fashion course and a one-year Art Foundation course, Melanie’s main area of study was in Textiles at De Montford University in Leicester.  Mrs Melanie also has a PGCE, a teaching qualification, in Art and Design and Textiles from Leeds University. After leaving university, she was inspired to set up her own Fashion company, ‘Style Trap’ with a friend, funded by two awards for small businesses.  Much later, Melanie decided to move into teaching and worked as a Design and Technology teacher in Leeds, which involved working with woodwork, metalwork, and Textiles. Since then, she has taught Textiles and Art at an international school in Malawi, Africa and worked for 20 years as the principal Art teacher at the British International School in Bratislava. She enjoys playing the piano, swimming and hiking and walking in the woods.
