Teacher of Humanities and Upper Secondary Phase Coordinator
Nichola graduated from UWE, Bristol with a degree in Politics. After working in Financial Services, she retrained in 2007, obtaining a PGCE from the University of Plymouth. She has taught a wide range of subjects during her time at a school in England, specialising in Politics A-Level. She started her international journey as a History teacher in Bangkok. Whilst there, she was also Head of Year 10 and 11, before becoming Humanities Faculty Leader, leading a diverse range of subjects. A key passion for Nichola is to develop the holistic education of students. She places great value in co-curricular activities and has organised opportunities for young people to participate in the International Award, History trips, academic extension programmes, and Youth Parliament, embracing her own interests in travel and politics. As Upper Secondary Phase Coordinator, she is responsibile for the day to day academic and pastoral care and supervision of students in Years 10-13.
