Sports, Arts & Music
We recognize that every student is unique, possessing their own distinct talents and potential. We understand that student life is about more than just academic success; it is about self-actualization across all areas of life. We take great pride in our students' diverse achievements and actively support them as they represent our school, whether in individual pursuits or as part of a team.
Sports
Our school actively participates in a wide range of local, national, and international team sports competitions. We are also proud to support several students who compete at the highest level, representing their national teams in both individual and team disciplines.
Arts and Creativity
At our school, we believe that the arts are a vital vehicle for self-expression. We encourage our students to find their unique voice and explore their imagination through various creative mediums. Students who choose art subjects benefit from an enriched curriculum that includes regular visits to galleries and exhibitions, providing them with real-world inspiration. Furthermore, our afterschool art clubs offer a vibrant space for all students to further hone their talents and techniques under expert guidance in a supportive and creative environment.
Music and Performing Arts
Creativity and performance are at the heart of our school culture. From the classroom to the grand stage, we provide students with extraordinary opportunities to showcase their artistic talents and build lasting confidence.
- The Year 6 Shakespeare Production: One of the undisputed highlights of the spring semester is the annual Year 6 play. In this ambitious project, our students take full ownership of a Shakespearean classic, adapting and producing the entire performance. It is a remarkable display of student agency, creativity, and theatrical skill that marks a milestone in their primary education.
- The Young Voices Choir: Our vocalists participate in a truly world-class experience. Each year, our choir travels to London to perform at the prestigious Young Voices event, joining 8,000 students from across Europe. We are immensely proud to be the only school from our region to participate in this massive, soul-stirring celebration of music.
- The Upper Primary Winter Performance: Every winter, our Upper Primary students light up the stage in a "magnetic" seasonal performance. It is a vibrant showcase of storytelling and music that brings our community together during the festive season.
- Secondary Spring Concert: As the year unfolds, our Secondary students take the spotlight in our Spring Concert. This sophisticated evening highlights the musical progression and diverse talents of our older students, featuring everything from classical pieces to contemporary arrangements.
- The School Band: For those who love to rock or pop, our school band offers a dynamic outlet for instrumentalists. Practicing and performing together, the band is a staple of school life, providing the soundtrack to many of our community events.
