Matthew Smith

Matthew studied at Canterbury Christ Church University, England, where he completed a Bachelor's degree in Primary Education, and then a Master’s degree in Global and International Education, achieving the highest honours in both.

Over the past decade, Matt has worked across a variety of educational roles and settings, most recently as Deputy Head of an International School in Yangon, Myanmar. He has also been heavily involved with an international children’s charity, including a project of his own, supporting untrained early years educators in Nigeria.

Matt has a great passion for travel and is especially keen on learning about other cultures, their ways of living and their histories. In his spare time, Matt loves to watch and play sports, and is an avid supporter Bristol City Football Club.
