Year 3 Class Teacher / Lower Primary Phase Coordinator
Stefen graduated from Keele University with a Degree in English Literature and Education. After finishing his degree, he moved to London to complete his PGCE in Primary Education at St. Mary’s Twickenham. From his time in London, he developed his love of teaching and gained huge experience from working within a very multicultural classroom. Following on from this, he moved to Finland where he worked as a Year 2 teacher for three years. He was gifted the opportunity to develop a wider understanding regarding the importance of ‘learning through play’, seeing how important it is for young children to have fun every time they step through the classroom door. He works under the ethos of ‘a happy learner is a successful learner’. He likes to be involved in just about every sport, and particularly enjoys Gaelic football, hurling and soccer.
