Orla Flynn
Year 5 Class Teacher / Deputy Head of Primary and Upper Primary Phase Coordinator
Orla obtained her Bachelor of Arts from Mary Immaculate College, University of Limerick, Ireland, before completing her Postgraduate Degree in Education at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland. Previously, Orla worked in Scotland and the United Arab Emirates as a class teacher and a key stage leader. She believes in giving each child the opportunity to reach their full potential by creating a classroom environment which provides motivating and challenging lessons. Children are encouraged to use their higher order thinking skills through collaborative and independent learning. She is delighted to be taking on the role of Upper Primary Phase Leader to help guide the curriculum, teaching practice and care of children in Years 4-6. Ms. Orla loves to stay active and her hobbies include include travelling, playing music and keeping fit.
