Bianka Filusová completed her studies at Haifa University in Israel in 2013, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English and English Literature and a Master of Arts Degree in Learning Disabilities. Prior to her studies she had lived for several years in London. Upon her return from Israel to Slovakia she worked in Banská Štiavnica as a Social Work Assistant in a centre for people with physical and mental disabilities. Immediately prior to the new position at CIS she had worked as an English teacher at the Pan-European Private Primary School.
During her stay in Israel she took part in different student projects which were aimed at helping children with various special needs, such as children with developmental difficulties, children from troublesome social backgrounds as well as gifted children coming from backgrounds where they could not otherwise develop and realise their potential. Along with being an au-pair in London, Bianka also volunteered as a Class Assistant to the children at a local primary school. In her free time she likes listening to music and enjoys nature and sports, especially cycling. She also enjoys baking, doing crafts and craft activities with children.
