Rimante was born and raised in Lithuania, where she attended a local gymnasium in Siauliai. She decided to move to the United Kingdom for her degree and completed a Master’s degree in Advanced Psychology at the University of Plymouth. Early on in her career, she moved with her husband to a prestigious school in Malaysia, where she started as an Assistant Teacher, working her way to become the Learning Support Coordinator. In addition to this, Rimante was also a live-in boarding House Tutor in a Junior Boys’ house. To further her career and qualifications, she has recently completed a Master's level International Award for SEN Coordination qualification through Middlesex University. She likes reading, hiking and travelling the world. She believes that every child will flourish and succeed with the right care and support and really values the three-way partnership between school and home with the child at the centre, when dealing with moderate interventions or complex needs.
