Roman Krátky

Teacher of Slovak

Having studied a semester of Chemistry in Brno, Roman decided to change his direction, follow his real passion, and applied to Comenius University in Bratislava. He studied to become a teacher of History and Slovak Language and Literature. After university, he spent three years as a Slovak teacher in an international school in Bratislava developing his pedagogical skills. He believes that being a teacher is a great opportunity for self-development, but also a great responsibility. He is very keen to build the links between Slovak and other European histories and highly values the opportunities which Project Based Learning offers in this dimension. When he is not working, he spends his time in the gym or relaxing listening to rock music. He likes to travel, and his favourite place, after Bratislava, is Prague.
