Eliza Jenkins
Year 3 Class Teacher
Eliza graduated from Royal Holloway University in the United Kingdom with a bachelor’s degree in Music (BMus). Upon finishing her degree, she advanced her studies with a PGCE (Post Graduate Certificate in Education) with Music Specialism at the Institute of Education, University College London.
Eliza then taught at a school in Tower Hamlets, for three years which has been praised for its SEN Practice and inclusive approach to learning from which she gained much experience. After grounding her career in the UK, with a desire to travel, Eliza moved to Bratislava and began teaching at Brilliant Stars International School in 2023 to which she experienced a Montessori, child-lead philosophy to learning and initiated many music initiatives. She creates a classroom environment that is both challenging and achievable, encouraging students to enhance their growth mindset through collaborative and independent learning.
Outside of work, Eliza enjoys staying active with a particular joy for athletics and long-distance running. She also enjoys playing piano, painting, travelling and trying new cuisines.
