Laura Hickey
Year 4 Class Teacher
Laura comes from Castlebar, County Mayo, on Ireland’s west coast. She studied at Mary Immaculate College, University of Limerick, where she achieved an honors B.Ed in Education and Psychology.
Following her studies, she moved to Scotland where she taught at a Primary school in Aberdeen for two years. She then taught in Dublin for a year, before moving to Slovakia in 2017.
Laura loves to embrace the outdoor life in Slovakia and can often be seen running, hiking or cycling through Bratislava’s forests. She enjoys playing Irish music on the concertina and performed Irish dancing competitively for a number of years.
