
Martina Foltánová
Teacher of Physical Education
Martina studied at the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport in Bratislava, where she earned her Master’s degree. During her studies, she received the Dean’s Award for her outstanding bachelor thesis and focused her diploma thesis on body image satisfaction among adolescent girls. As a PE teacher, Martina aims to support not only the physical development of her students but also their overall wellbeing.
While studying, she coached children in a badminton club and led general sports training sessions for young athletes. Martina also worked for a recruitment agency that placed staff in Spain and Greece, which allowed her to gain valuable international experience and spend two summers in Spain.
She enjoys a wide range of sports, especially skiing and being in nature. Martina is still an active second-league badminton player. In her free time, she follows Formula 1 and proudly supports her hometown ice hockey club Dukla Trenčín.
