Laura Doherty
Year 5 Class Teacher
Laura is a primary teacher from Northern Ireland. She is a passionate educator with over 12 years of experience working with primary students and is very excited to start her journey at Cambridge International School. Laura received a Bachelor of Science degree with Honours in Psychology from Liverpool University and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education from Warwick University. She has worked as a teacher in Northern Ireland, England, China and the UAE. She endeavours to nurture the students on their learning journeys in Cambridge International School. As a life-long learner herself, Laura likes to keep active in learning new skills and challenges. Her most recent personal achievement was completing a sprint triathlon in Dubai. For fun, Laura loves to be outdoors hiking, cycling, and kayaking. She looks forward to meeting her new students, colleagues, and friends from around the world, and to learn about their cultures and experiences as she starts her new journey in Bratislava.
