Simona Federičová

Simona Federičová completed her Bachelor’s degree at the Department of Psychology, Faculty of Arts, Comenius University in Bratislava, and obtained her Master’s degree from the Faculty of Psychology at Pan-European University in Bratislava.

She began her professional career in the inclusive educational environment of the Pan-European Primary School, where she worked with children with special educational needs, including those with specific learning disorders and children on the autism spectrum. She subsequently worked at the National Institute of Children’s Diseases, at the Department of Paediatric Surgery, where she provided psychological support to hospitalised paediatric patients and their families, basal therapy, crisis intervention, and psychodiagnostic assessments, with a particular focus on evaluating the psychomotor development of neurosurgical patients. During this period, she began her specialist training in Clinical Psychology at Comenius University.

She subsequently gained further professional experience in human resources management, education and employee development, as well as work and organizational psychology, at the Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs and Family. She currently also works in a psychological clinic specialising in clinical and traffic psychology and psychotherapy, where she focuses on psychodiagnostic assessment and basal therapy.S

She is currently undertaking psychotherapy training in Logotherapy and Existential Analysis and has completed accredited training in Art Therapy. In her profession, she integrates her interest in art and creativity as complementary elements of her psychological work.
