Michaela Madzinová

Michaela holds a PhD from Comenius University in Bratislava, Faculty of Natural Sciences, and completed her PGCE at University of East London. She has been teaching Geography in London secondary schools for the past five years, where she brings energy, curiosity, and a global perspective into her classroom.

Before settling in the UK, Michaela spent two years travelling and exploring both nearby and distant countries, experiences that continue to shape her teaching today. Having lived in the UK for over ten years, she enjoys blending her international experiences with local perspectives, helping students see how places, people, and cultures are deeply connected.

Michaela is passionate about Geography because she believes it tells the story of people’s lives and creates opportunities for growth and understanding. She loves sharing real-world examples from her travels, whether it’s discussing river landscapes, cultural traditions, or global challenges, often bringing a smile to her students through stories from the road.

Outside the classroom, Michaela enjoys discovering new cultures, learning Spanish, and planning her next adventure. She believes that learning never stops—and that the best lessons often come from the world beyond the classroom.
