Joshua Matthew Mear
Teacher of Media Studies / Teacher of English
Joshua is a committed and reflective educator with a breadth of international and UK teaching experience. He holds a BA in English Language from The Open University, a PGCE in Secondary English and an MA in Education from Birmingham City University. Joshua specialises in delivering dynamic, differentiated instruction at Key Stages 3, 4 and 5 in English language, literature and Media Studies. Joshua’s professional journey has taken him to Vietnam, Thailand, the United Kingdom and the Isle of Man. He fosters academic excellence while nurturing a genuine love for learning. Outside of education, Joshua particularly enjoys the outdoors, ice hockey, photography, reading and visiting museums, pursuits which mirror his energetic spirit and appreciation for the arts challenge and teamwork.
