
Charlotte Thompson
Deputy Head of Secondary /Teacher of German
Charlotte studied German at Bangor University, Wales and completed her PGCE in Secondary Modern Foreign Languages and Masters in Educational Practice at the University of Chester in England. She is currently undertaking her Doctorate in Education and one of her favourite aspects of working with young people is using evidence informed research to apply theoretical frameworks to emerging issues and to implement measurable impact interventions to support and drive forward student progress.
Charlotte has previously worked in international and bilingual schools in Germany, England and Spain and is joining us from the Isle of Man. She is passionate about providing all students with as many opportunities to be successful as possible and her career journey has led her to CIS to be part of a team of inspirational teachers who support and invest in each child as a whole.
Charlotte values time with family and enjoys travel and the outdoors. She is also an avid sportswoman and loves watching Wimbledon with fresh strawberries!
