Sakiba Mehanović

Sakiba holds a Master of Science degree and has over 18 years of experience teaching Chemistry at The First Bosniak High School. Her fields of interest include Analytical Chemistry and Biochemistry.

As a teacher with deep expertise in the Cambridge curriculum as well as the national and International curriculums, Sakiba set’s high standards for her students. Along her teaching, she held leadership positions such as co-heading of school STEM club, where her students gained a perspective on science and environmental management. Thanks to her creative teaching methods she was able to inspire her students to study science at prestigious universities.

In her personal life, Sakiba loves to read, practice yoga and she loves to cook and bake. Her firm belief is that in order to grow in any aspect, one has to be open to new ideas and be willing to continuously learn.
