Joseph Ian Jennings

Teacher of Humanities / Year 10 Class Teacher

Joseph graduated from Newcastle University in the United Kingdom with a degree in Geography where he developed skills in qualitative human geography research within the United Kingdom and Hong Kong. After finishing his degree, he completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Education with Birmingham City University in the United Kingdom. During this study he taught for two years at a Birmingham school gaining his teaching.

In 2021 he moved to Bratislava to teach History and Geography at Galileo School where he taught for 4 years.

Joseph has a passion for travel, particularly to ex-Soviet states for cultural experiences and hiking. His favourite destinations range from Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan to Belarus and Ukraine. Outside of travelling Joseph is a keen reader and has a particular interest in the global stock markets, geopolitics, modern history and cartography. He also follows Premiership Rugby (specifically Gloucester Rugby whom he supports).
