Terence James Barrett
Teacher of Maths
Terry studied at the University of Essex, University of Keele and University of Reading in the UK. He is qualified with a BA degree in mathematics, Postgraduate Diploma in Sociology and PGCE in secondary mathematics.
He has extensive teaching experience in various parts of the world such as Costa Rica, Spain, Sweden, Mexico, Germany, Japan and most currently Malaysia including working with all Cambridge secondary maths courses and other widely recognised international programmes. In his teaching, Terry endeavours to instil an in-depth understanding of mathematical principles and develop higher-order problem solving skills.
Outside of school Terry likes hiking, swimming and travelling.
