Miriam Maťašáková
Teacher of Slovak
Miriam graduated from the Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra, majoring in English language and literature and Slovak language and literature. She complemented her studies with additional pedagogical studies, so she can become a teacher and be able to share her knowledge.
She aims to do more than share knowledge; she works to motivate students to embrace a love for languages, reading, and continuous learning. In addition to teaching, she worked as a lecturer at a private language school, gaining valuable experience in adapting her methods to different age groups and language levels. She also volunteered at the One World Film Festival, where she translated subtitles and prepared annotations.
In her spare time, she likes to surround herself with creative activities such as DIY projects, baking sweet treats and looking after her balcony garden. Her free time is best spent with her family.
